So many reasons to love Ginstronomy, we had to narrow it down to just 6 🍸

1️⃣ Taste an incredible lineup of gins from 4 WA distilleries, all in one night.
2️⃣ Meet the makers themselves and get the inside scoop on the tricks of the trade.
3️⃣ Enjoy the tastiest food by our Head Chef Rodi, perfectly paired with every gin on offer.
4️⃣ Dance the night away to live music from Ian Weggler.
5️⃣ Our staff are amazing (no, really).
6️⃣ Soak up the vibes at Bob's Boutique Bar, right here in the building.

Staying with us for a conference or event? It's the perfect way to round out your visit. Book a room upstairs at The Gerald Apartment Hotel and enjoy the night without a worry about getting home.

Ginstronomy is back for its fifth year, right here under the same roof as the BCCC 🍸

Get ready to immerse yourself in the magical world of gin at Bob’s Boutique Bar. This year we’re bringing together four incredible WA distillers, 30 Knots, Wandering Distillery, Wild Road Spirits and Sin Gin, giving you the chance to meet the makers behind the bottle and hear the stories, botanicals and craft that go into every drop.

Each gin is perfectly paired with a dish crafted by our chefs to bring out every flavour, making for a night of tasting, education and plenty of laughs along the way.

If you’re with us for a conference or event, why not stay on and make a night of it? Book a room upstairs at The Gerald Apartment Hotel so all you have to worry about is which gin to try next.

A fantastic morning at Business Events Perth’s Industry Connect 2026, connecting with colleagues from across Western Australia’s business events sector while showcasing the Batavia Coast Conference Centre and beautiful Geraldton as a business events destination.
The day began at the iconic WACA Ground with an inspiring keynote from Christina Matthews AM, followed by an insightful bus tour with Two Feet & a Heartbeat.
We then headed to QT Perth for some fun team-building activities with Rapid Teams, followed by a series of one-on-one meetings. It was a valuable opportunity to share industry insights, learn more about each other’s businesses and explore future collaborations.
Thank you to Business Events Perth for bringing the industry together and delivering such an engaging and valuable event.

Meet Rodi, the man behind every kitchen at The Gerald, including ours here at the BCCC 👨‍🍳

From intimate meetings to our biggest conferences, Rodi and his team make sure every delegate is well fed. He's been Head Chef since 2023, and whether it's a boardroom lunch or a full scale event, he handles it all with a smile.

He's from Hamburg (we call him "handsome from Hamburg", he's yet to deny it), cooking since 2019, and he says what keeps him at The Gerald is the people around him and the room to be creative with his food.

His favourite thing to eat? "The dish I don't cook myself."

Book your next event with us and taste what Rodi's team can do.

What a night 💙 The BCCC was proud to host the WA Police Legacy Charity Gala Ball this past weekend.

The venue was transformed into a Winter Wonderland, with our blue lighting setting the scene and beautiful touches from our local suppliers, decor by Always Lush and AV by 65Thirty Events & Entertainment . We love collaborating with businesses like these to bring an event to life.

Our kitchen team was on top of their game all night, serving up an amazing 3 course alternate drop menu to a packed room without missing a beat.

Thank you to WA Police Legacy for choosing the BCCC for their gala. It was a pleasure to host such a well dressed room and even better fed one.
