WRITING CHARACTERS IN SCIENCE FICTION

Free Huon Valley Rising Tiger Youth Writers' Group

Reminder for parents - the next session of the Huon Valley Youth Writers' Group is on tomorrow! Thursday 16 October, 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm, Peach Room, Huonville Library

This month, we'll learn how to build a main character that reflects your storyworld.

We'll use a science fiction storyworld as the example, but the method is applicable to writing all fictional characters.

Open to young writers under 24. For our younger participants, parents are welcome to attend the sessions.

The program is organised jointly by Terror Australis Readers and Writers Festival, Huonville Library, and Huon Valley Council.
The Rising Tiger program is supported by Arts Tasmania.

Please book using the Eventbrite link in the first comment below.
N.B.
• It is important that all participants are respectful of each other's writing and interests.
• No food or drink of any sort is allowed in the room/sessions, apart from water. This is to make the room safe for people with certain allergies.
• Please do not attend a session if you are unwell.
