Christmas Parade Float EOIs Now Open!

Want to be part of this year’s Christmas Parade? Now’s your chance! We’re officially inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for parade floats.

Important:

All EOIs must be fully completed and submitted via our website to be considered. Do not send EOIs via FB Messenger or email or any other method.

An EOI is simply a way to let us know you’re interested—it’s not a confirmed spot, but a first step in the selection process.

This EOI is for Christmas Parade floats ONLY, not food vendors!

What you need to know:

This is not first come, first served.
All applications received before the closing date will be assessed.
You’ve got plenty of time, no need to rush!

Expressions of Interest to enter a float in this year’s Christmas Parade will open later today via the Christmas Parade website.

EOIs will be open until 1 August, so there’s no need to rush.

All fully completed applications will be assessed – this is not first come, first served.

Please note the parade is proudly run by volunteers, so we appreciate your patience while we get this set up and applications reviewed.

We can’t wait to see our community and local businesses shine this Christmas!

We're excited to announce that the Gawler Christmas Parade is coming back in 2026, proudly supported by the Rotary Club of Gawler Light.

Expressions of Interest for floats will open Monday 1 June, so get ready to be part of this much-loved community event.

Last night, thousands and thousands of locals came down to Murray St to watch the Villawood Gawler Christmas Parade! 💫🤸‍♀️🌟🎄

For the third year in a row, the parade and Gawler Apex Markets have been a real highlight, and I’m so proud to be back as the MC for what has quickly become Gawler’s biggest and brightest event! 🌟🎤

I collaborated with the amazing team at PBAFM 89.7 to broadcast live from the Town of Gawler balcony (I had to face my fear of heights for this one!). Thanks to everyone who listened in! 📻

And a huge shoutout to Rotary Club of Gawler Light for taking the reins and turning it into an even bigger, better celebration of our community. ❤️🎅🛷
