⚠️ OFFICE CLOSURE – INFORMATION SOUGHT ⚠️

Unfortunately, our Gawler Show office will be closed until further notice following structural damage that occurred overnight.

The damage has made the building unsafe to access, and the office will remain closed until a thorough assessment can be undertaken and we can ensure it is safe for our staff, volunteers and visitors.

We are asking for the community’s assistance. If anyone witnessed any unusual activity around the Gawler Showgrounds or our office overnight or has any information that may assist us in determining how the damage occurred, we would greatly appreciate hearing from you.

If you have CCTV, dashcam footage, photographs, or any other information that may be relevant, please contact us privately through our social media pages or via [email protected].

In the meantime, our team remains contactable electronically, and we will provide further updates regarding the office as more information becomes available.

Happy Father’s Day 👔

Here’s to the dads, grandads, carers and father figures who support, teach and cheer us on.

We’re grateful for those in our Gawler Show community, committee, volunteers and families whose hard work help make our event possible every year.

UPDATE: All trestles and wooden tops have been taken, the cupboards and a few other things remain.

📢 FREE – AVAILABLE FOR COLLECTION

The Gawler Show has a number of trestles and wooden table tops available for anyone who can make use of them!
They are located outside the Gawler Show sheds and are FREE to take. First in, best dressed! 🙌

👉 If you’re interested, please come and collect them soon, as anything left behind will be disposed of.

Our office will be closed tomorrow while we take a well-earned rest day. 😊

We also have a number of bank cards handed in. For privacy and security, please contact us directly to identify and collect these.

We’re proud to introduce the Gawler Show’s 2026 Rural Ambassador, James Kennewell, and Young Rural Ambassador, Luca Manno! 🎉

James and Luca are both incredibly enthusiastic members of our Gawler Show team, contributing so much of their time and energy to the Show and always willing to get involved wherever they can.

We’re very proud to have them representing the Gawler Show and can’t wait to see where the Rural Ambassador program takes them over the next year! 💚
