The last Sheep Basics for 2026 is at the Toora Community Hall, September 5th from 1pm.

Sheep Basics is a free, entry level event designed specifically for small mob and hobby farmers. We discuss basic care, lambing, parasites and common ailments!

With support from Shoof, Olssens and AgMind Australia - there is plenty of giveaways, prizes and fun to be had.

🌱☀️🐮 CHOOSE YOUR CALF CLASSIC CALVES 🐮☀️🌱

Hooray, spring has sprung ☀️🙌 there's now lots of calves dotting paddocks and filling calf sheds and we're sure some of them are wondering if they will be chosen for the 2027 Foster Show Calf Classic 🤔

If you haven't already picked your favourite calf, it's not too early to start thinking about getting prepared for our next show to be held on 27th Feb 2027 📆 There will be a couple of workshops in the lead up to provide tips and tricks for calf presentation and parading for kids and adults alike so keep an eye out for these from November onwards.

🥳🏆 GREAT RESULT AT GROUP FINALS🏆🥳

We were proud to be represented by a strong team of competitors at the VAS Central & South Gippsland Group Final held yesterday in Lang Lang 🤩 winning 1st place at this year’s Foster Show saw them eligible to compete amongst other shows in our group 🥇
