Oran Ray /
Oran Ray is a boundary-defying drummer and electronic artist based in Melbourne, Australia. His cutting-edge performances blend live percussion, modular synthesizers, and the improvisational spirit of jazz with the hypnotic pulse of Berlin’s underground techno. Rooted in rhythm and driven by experimentation, his sound merges raw, organic grooves with textured electronic landscapes to create immersive sonic journeys that are as unpredictable as they are captivating.

File Explorer creates fun and vibrant dance music that straddles genres and sound cultures. His debut EP, ‘Combination Style’, pulls from jungle, funk, dub and game music and was released in 2024 on Naarm-based label, Delight Records. Also recently appearing on Proponent Records and Tomboi Records, he’s making a name for himself as a remixer, DJ and live performer. If your Playstation took Ritalin and had a crippling YouTube addiction, it would sound like File Explorer.

second skin is for the heavy hearted yet hopeful. The alt pop/trip hop project is a dissociative nightcap to soundtrack your comedown. Enigmatic, raw and sultry expect an intimate live performance filled with ethereal vocals and moody basslines.

Vee is a dynamic selector based on Bunurong land, channeling jungle, breaks, and bass through the lens of UK sound system culture, with roots in South Asian and Middle Eastern frequencies. Recent sets at The Toff, Section 8, and Nerve mark Vee’s rising presence in Naarm’s underground, with their sets fusing break-heavy pressure with deep cultural richness.
