Fingal Bay parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am in Fingal Bay, Port Stephens, Australia. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female,

young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Run Directors:

Today was a mixed bag of weather at Fingal Bay parkrun with rain and sunshine intermittently appearing. That didn’t stop 78 dedicated people braving the elements. This week we celebrated National Volunteers Week and we acknowledge the wonderful volunteers who keep our weekly event happening ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Special recognition to our wonderful Moira who achieved her 150 volunteer credit today, and her 300th parkrun. Moira epitomizes what volunteering is all about. She shows up with a smile, a warm greeting, and is always willing to lend a hand in whatever position is needed. She is a friend to all and we are blessed to have her in our wonderful community event. Congratulations Moira and THANK YOU for all that you bring to Fingal Bay parkrun 💙🤩⭐️🤩⭐️🤩⭐️💙
