Built carefully. Built from conviction. Built to ride..cycles was born from Sean Doyle’s simple desire to make objects with his own hands — objects built properly, and built to last..
Raised on the steel bicycles of the 1980s, Sean’s understanding of the bicycle was shaped by an era where craftsmanship, ride quality and individuality were deeply valued. In Brisbane, under the influence of master builder Darrell Llewellyn, that understanding deepened further — grounded in craftsmanship, patience, and the belief that good design rarely needs gimmicks..
Now based in southern Tasmania, Sean continues to push steel into new territory. Lugs, fillet brazing, and emerging technologies like 3D-printing are employed not for novelty, but in pursuit of better riding steeds..
Road, race, gravel, and increasingly full-suspension builds — each machine carrying the unmistakable character of something made carefully, deliberately, and by hand..
