Left Write Hook is an innovative trauma recovery program for female-identifying and gender diverse survivors of childhood sexual abuse and gendered violence. The program combines non-contact boxing, creative writing and facilitated group reflection to support healing, connection and recovery.
The program is grounded in lived experience and informed by a growing body of evidence. It was the subject of the award-winning documentary Left Write Hook and is being evaluated through a research trial led by the University of Melbourne, with preliminary findings demonstrating significant improvements in participants' wellbeing, connection and recovery outcomes.
Places are limited and demand is expected to be high, participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible via the form.
