Frog Hollow parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am in Endeavour Hills, Victoria, Australia. Frog Hollow parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians, from

juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to have a go.

Come dressed as anything green… frogs 🐸, dinosaurs 🦖, superheroes, dragons, aliens or whatever fun idea you can dream up! 😄

Autumn Bows Out, Frog Hollow Turns Up! 🍂🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

The final weekend of autumn arrived with a chilly breeze and a blanket of cloud overhead ☁️🥶, but that didn't stop the wonderful Frog Hollow community from hopping out of bed and onto the course!

A fantastic 179 walkers, joggers and runners made their way around Frog Hollow this week. Among them were 33 first-timers 👋🎉 who discovered that Saturday mornings can, in fact, be fun before 8am!

The course must have been sprinkled with magic frog dust this week because an incredible 30 participants smashed their Personal Bests! 🚀⏱️💨 Whether it was by a second or several minutes, there were plenty of happy dances happening around the finish area. 💃🕺

Representatives from 8 different clubs joined the action, proving once again that Frog Hollow is the place to be on a Saturday morning. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💚

🌟 Volunteer Superheroes Save the Day! 🌟
As always, the event only happened thanks to our magnificent team of 12 volunteers. Without them we'd just be 179 people standing around wondering where the finish funnel went! 🤷‍♂️😂

Since the very first Frog Hollow parkrun on 14th June 2014 📅:

🐸 7,740 participants have taken part
🏃 50,274 parkruns have been completed
📏 251,370 kilometres have been covered
⚡ 6,744 Personal Bests have been achieved
🙋 734 volunteers have contributed
🎉 5,214 volunteer roles have been filled

That's enough distance to run around Australia several times, although we'd recommend taking a few water breaks along the way! 🇦🇺😅

30/05/2026 There is one milestone which was achieved today

Congratulations to Ash Ravenscroft on achieving his 25 parkruns milestone

PLEASE NOTE: for juniors under the age of eighteen, milestone reports are only written for 25 park run milestone.

Ash Ravenscroft – 25 parkruns
Ash’s parkrun journey began at Jells on 30/03/2024.
His 25th parkrun was his thirteenth at Frog Hollow.
He has achieved a total of five PBs.
His best time is 39:46, done at Jells on 25/05/2024.
His average time over 24 parkruns is 47:13.
He has a best age grade percentage of 37.38%, achieved on the day of his PB.
He has run at a total of three parkrun locations. Apart from his parkruns at Frog Hollow, he has completed eleven at Jells and one at Lewis Park Reserve.
Ash currently participates in the JM11-14 age category. He has completed all his parkruns to date in this age group.
The most parkruns he has completed in a calendar year is fourteen, in 2024.
He has earned four volunteer credits, all at Frog Hollow. He has volunteered across three distinct roles. He has been the photographer on two occasions and done barcode scanning and been the tail walker once each.
He has an excellent volunteer ratio of 16%.
Ash achieved his j10 milestone at Jells on 27/07/2024.
We look forward to seeing Ash achieve many more milestones in the future.

📰🐸 FROG HOLLOW PARKRUN #557 – “FROSTY FEET & FAST TIMES!” 🥶🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Crikey, what a ripper morning out at Frog Hollow parkrun this Saturday! 🌤️❄️ It was fresh enough to freeze the budgie smugglers off ya, but thankfully calm as — no sideways rain, no gale-force winds, just classic chilly autumn conditions perfect for belting out a PB! 💨🔥

This week, a mighty 151 legends ran, jogged, waddled and power-walked their way around the course 🏃‍♀️🚶‍♂️🐸 including 23 first timers who either: A) accidentally took a wrong turn into the park 🤣 or B) finally listened to their mates saying “come give parkrun a crack!”
And fair dinkum — 27 people smashed out Personal Bests! 🥳💪 Must’ve been the cold air giving everyone turbo mode or maybe someone spiked the coffee with rocket fuel ☕🚀

Representatives from 5 clubs joined the fun, proving once again that Frog Hollow is where the cool kids hang out on a Saturday morning 😎👏

But as always, none of this chaos happens without our absolute superstar volunteers — the high-vis heroes keeping the show on the road! 💛🙌
