WOW, what a weekend at the Eltham Jazz, Food & Wine Festival. We truly hope all those who attended had a wonderful time. A MASSIVE shout-out to ALL our festival partners & sponsors named below, who without their great support and funding, this FREE event would not have happened. Yep, a weekend of FREE music and entertainment folks all due to these locals!

⭐️FESTIVAL PROGRAM TIMES ARE HERE⭐️

The 27th edition of the Eltham Jazz, Food and Wine Festival is happening this weekend and we are pleased to share the set times.

It all kicks off on Friday 27 February at 4pm with the St Helena Stage Band followed by a raft of Melbourne's pre-eminent artists in Anna Sconti, Nightbeat, Firefly Horns and Soul Sacrifice on the Jellis Craig Town Square Stage

Saturday 28 February starts at 12pm with perennial festival favourites The New Orleans Pelicans Brass Band followed by a number of wonderful acts catering for all tastes across two stages, and ending with JAZZPARTY bringing the party home on the Bendigo Community Bank Stage at Commercial Place

Speaking of catering for all tastes, as usual, there will also be plenty of scrumptious food and beverage options available as well! And the kids will be kept entertained with our children's activities on Saturday.

And of course, thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, the festival is FREE! See you at the Eltham Town Centre!

Once again we will be live broadcasting the Eltham Jazz, Food & Wine Festival this year, and we are super excited to announce that we will be simulcasting the event in partnership with Vision Australia Radio on its IRIS DAB+ Channel.

MEDIA RELEASE

Recognised as one of the Top 20 best jazz festivals in the southern hemisphere, this year’s festival will again be held at Eltham on Friday February 27 and Saturday February 28 in the Town Square precinct.

Plenty Valley FM is proud to continue our long association with this event which brings together everything it says on the box – plenty of live music from 2 alternating stages, and the opportunity to embrace the flavours of local wineries and food from the culturally creative hub within the heart of Nillumbik.

President Craig Wright said “Music is a medium that is all-inclusive, and this festival is a multi-sensory event featuring all the sounds, smells and tastes that the festival brings. We will be broadcasting live from 4pm on the Friday and midday on the Saturday."

“It’s one of our biggest community engagement opportunities within our service area in Melbourne’s outer north to help people learn about our programs and our important role as a designated emergency broadcaster”, Craig explained.

This year, Plenty Valley FM is extremely pleased to announce apartnership with Vision Australian Radio to simulcast this event on its IRIS DAB+ platform. The partnership represents a new opportunity to bring the Eltham Jazz Food and Wine Festival to even more people.

Conrad Browne from Vision Australia Radio says “Vision Australia Radio is known for providing access to information, but we also appreciate an opportunity to collaborate with other stations and deliver quality entertainment to our community of interest too. Thay’s why we are delighted to be partnering with Plenty Valley FM to simulcast some of the many highlights from the Eltham Jazz, Food and Wine Festival on our IRIS DAB+ feed for Melbourne’s blind and low vision community.”

If you can’t be at the event in-person, you can download the Community Radio Plus app and search for Plenty Valley FM or VAR Melbourne. You can also find the IRIS DAB+ coverage using a DAB+ compatible device or radio.
