Enjoy great coffee, light café-style fare, and a thoughtfully curated selection of local produce, pantry goods and gifts — perfect for lingering or taking a little piece of the Hills home with you. As an event venue, 1000 Reasons offers flexible spaces for everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. We work with a handpicked collection of trusted catering and event partners, giving our clients the freedom to tailor their day — from relaxed grazing feasts to elevated dining experiences. Throughout the year, the farm also plays host to guest chef experiences, cooking classes, markets and special events that bring people together around food, creativity and community. Winter has arrived at 1000 Reasons — and with it, an exciting new chapter in the kitchen.

Led by our new Head Chef, Felipe Darin, our seasonal winter menu has officially landed. Inspired by the richness of the Adelaide Hills and the best produce of the season, this menu is warm, generous and designed to be shared around the table.

From long lunches to cosy evenings by the fire, we can’t wait to welcome you in.

We are now open Thursday to Saturday evenings, with final dinner bookings available at 8:30pm.

Hello to the wonderful team who looked after us at today’s event.

Sometimes taking a chance on a Facebook ad leads to something truly special — and today was exactly that.

Sylvia, Cam, Courtney and I had such a memorable afternoon with you at 1000 Reasons.

Having spent close to 30 years working across hospitality — both front and back of house, as well as in management — I know just how rare it is to experience something that genuinely captures the heart of true hospitality. Today restored a great deal of faith for me. Great food, honesty, passion, warmth, love for what you do, and that old-fashioned personal hospitality were all on full display.

This was the first time we had socialised with our neighbours, and we could not have chosen a more perfect venue or event to do so.
The hospitality was warm and genuine, the food exceptional, the wine perfectly matched, and the venue itself absolutely beautiful.

Thank you for creating such a welcoming and memorable experience for us all. Please keep us in the loop for future events — we would love to return.

What a week it’s been at 1000 Reasons.

From STOKE to Mother’s Day celebrations, the past week has been one to remember — and we want to sincerely thank everyone who joined us and our amazing team who worked tirelessly to make it happen. It’s been an absolute pleasure to host so many beautiful gatherings, long lunches and special moments here in the Adelaide Hills.

Now, we’re excited to share what’s next.

Over the coming week, we’ll be rolling out a brand-new menu alongside our new Head Chef, Felipe Darin. Expect fresh seasonal dishes, plates to share, relaxed dining and a renewed experience designed for long afternoons and evenings shared with friends and family.

As of Thursday 21st of May, our new trading hours begin:

Thursday; Friday; Saturday - 10am to 9pm
Sunday - 10am to 5pm

During the day, enjoy casual counter service with brunch favourites, pastries, coffee & cake and a selection of light lunches.

Then from Thursday to Saturday evenings, settle in for a full dining experience featuring pizzas, shared plates, seasonal specials and our signature house-made desserts.

This next chapter for 1000 Reasons is something we’ve been working towards for a long time, and we can’t wait to welcome you in.
