It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Bill Hauritz, founder of the Woodford Folk Festival.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Bill’s wife, Ingrid and their family, to his business partner, Amanda Jackes, the Woodfordia community, and the wider Australian folk community.

Bill was a passionate champion of OzManouche from its inception through to the present day, and a steadfast supporter of the Australian gypsy jazz community, providing invaluable opportunities for musicians.

Thank you, Bill, for your generosity, vision, and enduring contribution to OzManouche and to the Australian gypsy jazz scene.
