What is Dungog Pedalfest all about? This photo says it all. First time Penny Farthing Rider being supported by Veteran Penny Farthing Rider. The Child being willing to have a go, overcoming her fears, and achieving success with the well-timed support from a caring Elder. One can only exist with the other. Big thankyou to all who got behind Pedalfest 2025.

This was followed by the Penny Farthing 1 Mile Criterion State Championships. It was a close race with the order of competitors completely changing on the second lap. These Penny Riders are the salt of the earth and so glad they made the trek to this years pedalfest. Hope some more Penny Riders will come out of the woodwork for next years Pedalfest.

Here are some of our fabulous Dandy Horse competitors at the Pedalfest Criterion on Saturday. These Gentlemen made theses bikes and then raced them - based on the 'Dandy Horse' designed over 200 years ago when there was a horse shortage.

Exciting Times - everything is in place for this years Pedalfest. All we need now is YOU to join us to make the most of this great event. All rides can be registered on the day.

These Penny Farthings will be available to borrow Saturday afternoon and Sunday Morning - by donation. And there will be a Penny Farthing or two at this afternoons Kids and Cobwebs ride. Great if you can join us or cheer the kids and adults on from the side.

Calling all photographers? We are really trying to build up Pedalfest back to what it once was and if you are going to be there and are good at taking photos, you can really help us promote this terrific event for years to come. If you can help out in anyway - especially on Friday and Saturday - that would be terrific. Either message us or make yourself known at the registration desk this weekend.

Don't have a bike? We have mini-Penny Farthings for the kids, many balance bikes from 12-16 inch and footbikes available to borrow for a donation. Bring a helmet if you can.

Remember you can always enter on the day by card or cash. Just get there half hour before your ride.
