D'Ferry Flicks From 2021 all memberships are due in April.

Dodges Ferry Film Society volunteers screen a range of films to the Southern Beaches Community - join us 6.30pm for 7pm at Okines Community House on the third Saturday each month (Feb-Dec) Formed in June 2017, Dodges Ferry Film Society is:

We are a sub-committee of Okines Community House Inc at Dodges Ferry and a member of the Tasmanian Federation of Film Societies Inc.

The film folds together the story of a violent crime and the troubled girl who witnessed it. Left catatonic with shock, young Blaze struggles to make sense of what she saw, ultimately finding renewal in the fantasy world of her own imagination.

Dear members,

Our film this Saturday 21 March 2026 is KNOWING THE SCORE (Australia, PG, 94 m).

A music documentary produced by Cate Blanchett & Margie Bryant, the 2023 film showcases the achievements of Australian conductor Simone Young. KNOWING THE SCORE takes us on a journey showing the challenges she faced to get where she is today.

We're looking forward to seeing you at D'Ferry Flicks on Saturday at 6.30pm.
You can bring food to share or grab food from Orlando Plenty who are setting up to celebrate the opening of the Nipakawa Steiner School, and then come to watch the film at 7.00pm!

This Saturday 20 December 2025 is Bridget Jones's Diary (Britain, M, 96 m).

The 2001 romantic comedy star​ring Renee Zellweger, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant is based on the book by Helen Fielding, depicting a 32-year-old single woman in London looking for love.

We're looking forward to seeing you for our D'Ferry Flicks Christmas party on Saturday at 6.30pm starting with a complimentary festive drink and some shared Christmas nibbles before our film starts at 7.00pm.

Please bring a small plate or bowl of food to contribute to our Christmas supper table.

Cards will note gluten free, dairy free, vegan etc.
