Darwin parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 7am in Bicentennial Park (Esplanade). Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Darwin parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 7am in Darwin, NT, Australia. Darwin parkrun is FREE and open to people of all standards and ages, both as volunteers and as runners / walkers. We encourage people of every ability to take part, from those taking their first steps in running to Olympians,

from juniors 5 years or older to those with decades of experience. All runners receive encouragement and enjoy being part of a community event open to all standards. Equally, our volunteer teams come from a huge variety of backgrounds and we urge everybody to get involved in organising their local events at least 3 times per year.

A beautiful morning at Darwin Parkrun this week with 174 enjoying a nice dry season morning, running, jogging & walking the course. This week we had 57 people completing Darwin for the first time. Well done to the 28 who recorded their Personal Best today! The event was made possible by 10 superstar volunteers, many thanks to Andrea TAYLOR, Andrew TAYLOR, Glenn ROSS, Helen THIELE, Linda EMMERTON, Natalie DAJSKI, Peter MIRIKLIS, Phill DENNIS, Ric INNES & Robyn CAHILL.
