Thailand Grand Festival by NT Thai Association The long-awaited Thailand Grand Festival by NT Thai Association is back with full-day activities. Gold Coin Entry Donation would be greatly appreciated.

� � Thailand Grand Festival 2022 will bring back Traditional Thai culture to Darwin, returning to the Darwin Waterfront,NT. Celebrating Thai New Year (Songkran Festival) with traditional Thai culture, the free event will feature a range of exciting things for local and visiting families to see and do. Book your FREE tickets now!!!�

The event features highlights are as follows.

�Thai street food

with many stalls offering an authentic taste of Thai food and desserts.
�Water fights through water pistols and/or any containers you can imagine to get you soaked the Khao San Road style
�Water blessing for good luck
�The Grand Parade featuring a special wedding theme or khan mark procession with amazing Thai Long drums (Klong Yao)
�Family and kids activities at the education & Soi down booth area. You can learn how to write your name in Thai, learn how to do fruit carving and more.
�Watch and learn Muay Thai demonstration (Thai Kickboxing) and join us for fun self-defence in Thai style
�Traditional Thai massage
�Thai Beer Garden
�Performances on the stage

Please note that there are two check-in spots. One on the entrance from Kitchener Drive (in front of Chow! Restaurant). Another entrance is from the parking building to the lagoon (next to the playground).

�Check-ins are required upon arrival in order to fulfil the Covid-19 Safety plan and to keep everyone safe during our fun family event. See you on the Saturday 23, April!��

Honoured and grateful to be welcomed to Government House and to have the opportunity to spend time with His Honour, learning and sharing insights on his new role, while discussing the important contribution of multiculturalism in the Northern Territory. We truly appreciate him taking the time to learn more about the NT Thai Association and the volunteer work we proudly do for our community.
We volunteer because we love and care deeply for our community and remain strongly connected to our culture and heritage. Our hope is that future generations will continue to remember who we are, where we come from, and carry forward the values that shape our identity.
