The Greek Glenti, held at historic Bicentennial Park in Darwin, is a fun and vibrant festival where the Greek community shares their culture, food, wine, dance and music with locals and visitors. The Glenti consists of local and interstate entertainment and acts and besides being able to eat Greek food, you can see people wearing traditional Greek clothing, be enlightened by the Greek culture, listen to Greek music, and see traditional dancing and much more.

GleNTi Cup is here ! ⚽️🏆

As part of the GleNTi Festival program, we are excited to welcome the annual derby between Darwin’s two Greek football clubs Hellenic Athletic Club and Darwin Olympic Sporting Club.

This special match brings us together, celebrating the strong contribution both clubs have made to football in the Northern Territory.

📅 Tuesday 2 June📍 Apex Darwin Football Stadium🚪 Doors open from 4:00pm

The day will also feature junior games between Hellenic AC and Darwin Olympic SC, giving the next generation of players the chance to take part in this proud community football tradition.

The transformation of Bicentennial Park has officially begun, with a dedicated crew hard working at constructing the large festival tents that will form the backbone of GleNTi 2026.

These impressive structures are no small task. Hours of planning, coordination, heavy lifting, and teamwork go into assembling the tents that will soon house food stalls, cultural displays, entertainment areas, community spaces, and thousands of festival visitors throughout the weekend.

As each section is raised and secured, the festival site begins to take shape, bringing us one step closer to welcoming the community to the Northern Territory’s largest celebration of Greek culture.
