🎭✨ What a Parade of Puppets! ✨🎭
Before the burning of the bull, festival-goers were treated to a truly magical sight — the amazing puppets that have been lovingly created over a number of years by the community, with the guidance of talented artist Karen Hethey.

In the lead-up to the festival, free workshops run by Karen gave anyone who wanted to be involved the chance to get creative and contribute — and the results were simply stunning! 🐨🦘🦜

This year, a mix of smaller new puppets joined the much-loved larger creations, all celebrating Australia’s native animals. The parade was full of colour, movement, and joy — a real crowd favourite! 🌈💃

A huge thank you to Karen, and to all the students and community members who helped bring the puppets to life and manoeuvred them around the bull — it was just fantastic to see! 🙌❤️

🔥🐂 What a Bull! 🐂🔥
What an amazing bull sculpture created by Jeff Woodman and John Cartwright, congratulations!! It was an absolute standout at this year’s Dardanup Bull & Barrel Festival!

Tying in perfectly with our theme “Off and Racing,” the bull was loved by all — a true work of art that showcased incredible creativity and community spirit. 🎨👏

A huge thank you to Wespine for donating the pine used to build the sculpture — and to Jeff and John for turning it into something truly spectacular. 🌲💪

And what a fantastic, dramatic burn to finish the night! 🔥🔥
