South West Queensland Christian Convention A Christian Convention to bring together churches from across South West QLD as one big family of God A Christian Convention for the country, by the country.

Bringing us all together around the gospel of the crucified and risen Lord Christ. We take the Biblical command of rightly dividing the word of truth seriously and are committed to the Bible being handled in terms of 2 Timothy 2:15. We’re committed to the doctrines of grace. In common usage these are defined as “Sola Scriptura, Sola Christus, Sola gratia, Sola fide” which is understood to mean “Scripture alone, salvation through Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone.”

Our organising committee is made up of people from Presbyterian, Baptist, and Church of Christ churches; from Dalby, Dirranbandi, Goondiwindi and Chinchilla. What brings us together is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And we hope it bring you together with us.

It was such a great time of fellowship this weekend 🤩

A HUGE thank you to all our volunteers who served us throughout the weekend in the kids’ ministries, worship and sound teams, our YWAM team, cooks for Saturday dinner and dessert, and those who helped set up and pack down.

And another HUGE thank you to Jared Wilson for faithfully preaching the word in our sessions, and also to all our seminar speakers 😎
