✨ As the dust settles on a wonderful weekend and everyone has made it home — likely a little tired, but full of new ideas and inspiration — we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who made our Super Clinic what it was.

To our incredible group of clinicians — Naomi Strong, Lisa Koppman, Lorelei Payne, Rick Graham, Blair Wenham, and Nicole Kipping — thank you for the knowledge, encouragement, and energy you each brought to the weekend. Your ability to meet riders where they’re at and create a supportive, learning-focused environment is what made the weekend so valuable.

To our committee, helpers, and volunteers — thank you for the work behind the scenes before and throughout the weekend. Events like this only come together because of the many people willing to step in, organise, problem-solve, and keep everything moving.

A special thank you to Advanced Motors Dalby for the use of the side-by-side, Thomas Arena Products for the use of your equipment, and Western Downs Traffic Control for the use of your witches hats. Your support played an important role in bringing the weekend together.

Weekends like this are a reminder of what Western Dressage is really about — learning, supporting one another, and building better partnerships with our horses.

🌟Western Downs Western Dressage is proud to host Angie Wicks for a Two-Day Clinic🌟

🎓Clinic: Friday the 8th & Saturday the 9th of May
🐎Come and Try Show: Sunday 10th of May Come and Try Show.

Angie needs no introduction, she is an accomplished rider, competing in Western Dressage, English Dressage, Reining & Ranch. Angie instils confidence in the riders, through clear communication, problem solving and focusing on the relationship between horse and rider. Angies diverse background and skill set allows her to work with riders and horses of all levels from beginners to advanced riders! We are so excited at this opportunity to bring Angie to the downs...head across to to learn more!

Day 1 of our Super Clinic is done ✔️

We kicked off to a fresh Dalby morning that turned into a beautiful day. The sessions were packed with value
covering in-hand/body control with Naomi Strong Strong Performance Coaching, tips for gaining extra marks in competition with Lorelei Payne (focusing on square halts and quality working paces), pole work with Lisa Kopman Weownna Lodge Equestrian Training Centre, bodywork with Rick Graham RGC Equine Therapy and mindset sessions with Nicole Kipping pearlandpaddock

We wrapped it all up with delicious platters from Thyme to plate
(and a cheeky KFC fix 🍗).

Safe to say everyone will be sleeping well tonight, ready to do it all again tomorrow!

We kicked off our Super Clinic in Dalby tonight with an awesome turnout for a fun Pilates session led by Blair Wenham from Evergreen Pilates Dalby! Finished the evening with pizzas on the deck 🍕

We’re back into it tomorrow with learning sessions starting at 8am , shaping up to be an incredible weekend of learning 🐴
