Migaloo by Jessica Miglioranza

Inspired by the ethereal presence of Migaloo, this sculpture honors the white whale’s deep connection to our Gold Coast community. To mirror his rare, ivory form, I have meticulously arranged thousands of white seashells into rhythmic, textured patterns. The use of white-on-white highlights the purity of the ocean and the
fragility of marine life. By ethically utilizing the sea’s own natural architecture to depict its most famous traveler, I hope to create a lasting bond between the viewer and the majestic, fleeting spirit of the whale.

Big Bang Cluster by Andre Sardone .sardone.art

This ‘Big Bang’ series is the culmination of a structural form that has evolved over many years. At its core is a central hub from which shafts radiate outward, a form that echoes both the delicate structure of a dandelion
and the primordial explosion of the Big Bang itself, matter and energy dispersing endlessly from a single point of origin. This recurring form has been revisited and reimagined over time in Andre’s arts practice, realised in a range of materials and scales, from intimate, hand-held works to monumental sculptural statements.

Lumie, The Desert Hopper of Light by Devorah Ungerleider

Lumie emerges as a response to a fragmented world, offering a moment of pause and recognition. Constructed from hand-painted canvases inspired by human skin tones, precious metals, and everyday cosmetics, the sculpture’s quilted surface unites many parts into a single form. Community-written wishes for healing, peace, and connection mark Lumie’s legs like living tattoos. Inspired by the desert hare, Lumie stands as a quiet guardian, alert, intuitive, and luminous, reminding us that beneath our differences, we share the same hopes.

Amaranth by Rae Saheli

Amaranth is an interactive installation. Rising from a perforated aluminium base, a stem arches overhead to
support a large sculptural bloom. This botanical-industrial hybrid invites visitors to stand beneath its canopy, encouraging curiosity and contemplation. While the shot aluminium surface shimmers by day, the work fully activates at night. Light radiates from a central orb, travelling through the stem to illuminate the bloom, casting ethereal shadows and creating an immersive experience for all who gather beneath.

The Koi: Global Peace Messenger by Christopher Diaz

In a period of profound global unrest, The Koi: Global Peace Messenger serves as an urgent invitation for collective meditation on the human toll of war, displacement, and poverty. Diaz utilises the globally recognised Koi symbol as a catalyst for unity,
proposing this sculpture as a station for global peace and manifestation. Dedicated to anti-war, anti-poverty, and anti-discrimination values, the work broadcasts a synchronised message of love to the furthest corners of the earth, promoting a world where diversity is celebrated as a beautiful mosaic.

Mo' Money by Left Ear Experiment

Mo' Money is a lawn mower dressed up as royalty. Finished in fake gold and crowned at its motorhead, it transforms a suburban workhorse into a monument to status, aspiration and the Australian dream. Mo' Money pokes fun at Australia's national obsession with home ownership, the preoccupation with property prices and the belief that a patch of grass is a measure of success. After all, if you own a lawn mower, there's a fair chance you've made it onto the property ladder. And nothing says you've made it quite like mowing your own kingdom in the suburbs.

Metropolyps by Suzy Syme & Andrew Costa

In an era where ecological systems and constructed environments are increasingly intertwined, Metropolyps
blurs the boundary between sculpture and inhabitable form. Inspired by brain coral, the foundational
structure of reef ecosystems, the work draws on the logic of collective growth. Fabricated from plant-based
biopolymer, the installation is composed of uniquely formed, interdependent elements ranging from small,
intimate forms to human-scale structures. By inviting close bodily proximity, Metropolyps reflects the reef’s
spatial complexity, adaptability, and living architecture.

Avrem 'Mother' by Coleen Lavender

The winged figure represents the beauty and strength of women in all aspects of life. Created in my signature
ribbon style, the sculpture balances softness and power, using flowing steel lines to suggest movement, energy, and resilience. The wings act as a symbol of inner strength, a superpower that allows women to carry, protect, rise, and excel. The openness of the for encourages viewers to move around the sculpture, discovering a very real grounded strength. A presence, endurance and grace.

Ocean Dancer: Crimson AlLure by Melanie Maclou

Melanie Maclou’s sculptural practice explores the relationship between people, place, and the natural world. Working with robust materials such as aluminium and steel, she creates large-scale, organic forms inspired by marine life and coastal ecologies. Her works balance strength and delicacy, inviting close engagement while
responding to environmental forces of wind, salt, and light. Melanie aims to spark curiosity, wonder, and a
deeper sense of care for the landscapes we inhabit.
