More than 1,600 swimmers took to the water on Sunday for the 30th anniversary Coogee Jetty to Jetty Swim 🌊

Events like this are made possible through our Cockburn Community Fund, supporting local organisations to deliver events that bring our community together.

The team from Cockburn Masters said the support they received from the City of Cockburn was second to none, and they wouldn't be able to hold an event of this scale without our invaluable funding support.

🐤 💙 Baby Ducks Giveaway – Did you get one?

As part of the 30th Anniversary Jetty to Jetty Swim, our volunteers were handing out blue pearly baby ducks at the finish line to lucky swimmers as they crossed.

We collected 18 names on race day, but there were 40 ducks in total, which means there may still be some winners out there!

If you received one of the blue pearly ducks, we’d love to hear from you.

This anniversary year was also a chance to recognise the incredible legacy of Trevor and Barbara Read, who created the very first Jetty to Jetty Swim. An extra special mention to Trevor, who remains the only swimmer to have competed in every Jetty to Jetty event since it began - an amazing achievement and a testament to the spirit of this event.
