Pollen & Distortion on Purpose presents an iconic night of distorted guitars and lyrical genius with two acts: Motionblur. and the Lickspits.

Motionblur:

Fronted by bassist/vocalist Lex Langton, Motionblur gives you distorted guitar and lyrical genius. Based in Naarm/Melbourne, these alternative rockers have played the Bergy Bandroom, The Espy and The Tote. With two singles and one EP released so far, this group of young talent know how to rock your night.

The Lickspits:

Prepare to be confused in the best way possible. The Lickspits are a rock/punk band from the outer eastern suburbs of Naarm/Melbourne, formed in 2022. They frequent gigs across Belgrave and the surrounding suburbs, causing chaos wherever they go. Pulling inspiration from T.rex, Tom Waits and Led Zeppelin, this is a band that creates a mosh pit wherever they play. They currently have three singles released, Hippopotamus, Vicious and Blackout, with an album set to release in late November, not too long after this gig!
