As we reflect on the epic 38 years of TCC, we also celebrate the staff past and present who have helped shape the Centre into what it is today.

Today we celebrate 38 years of the Collaroy Centre as we know it today. 🎉

Since the official opening of the current Centre in 1988, we have welcomed generations of schools, community groups, families, staff, volunteers and guests through its doors.

Over the years, countless people have helped shape the Centre into what it is today, from past and present staff, officers and volunteers, to the thousands of guests who have created memories here along the way. Thank you for being part of the Collaroy Centre story.

While we’re proud of our history, we’re equally excited about the future.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also looking ahead to the next chapter for the Centre, including our upcoming solar tennis court roof project, one of our biggest sustainability initiatives yet, helping create a more flexible, all-weather space for schools, camps and community groups for years to come.

The Collaroy Centre has always been a place built around people, connection, growth and community, and we’re grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey over the past 38 years.

Here’s to the memories made, the people who shaped us, and the exciting future ahead. 💙

We promised we had news… and now we can finally share it. 👀

Plans have officially been approved for a major new project at the Collaroy Centre: a covered roof for our tennis court space, featuring a roof made up of solar panels.

This project is set to become one of the Centre’s biggest sustainability initiatives yet, creating a more flexible all-weather space for schools, camps and community groups, while helping move the Centre toward a more sustainable future.

The project will also include a 30,000-litre water tank to support more responsible water use across the site.

We’re incredibly excited about what this will mean for the future of the Centre and can’t wait to share more as the project progresses.

Activity spotlight: Archery Tag

Think archery meets laser tag. With a whole lot of adrenaline.

Archery Tag is fast, strategic and seriously fun. Players take aim using bows fitted with soft-tipped arrows, ducking, dodging and working as a team to outplay the opposition.

It’s competitive without being intimidating, high energy without being complicated, and always a crowd favourite.

If your group loves a bit of action and friendly rivalry, this one delivers.

Activity spotlight: High Ropes

Clipped in. Deep breath. First step.

High Ropes is one of our most popular activities, and it’s easy to see why. Set high above the ground, it challenges participants to step outside their comfort zone, back themselves, and encourage each other along the way.

It’s not just about balance and bravery. It’s about trust. Teamwork. That moment when someone says, “You’ve got this,” and you realise you actually do.

Perfect for school camps, leadership groups and teams wanting to build confidence in a real, practical way.

Something’s coming.

We said 2026 would bring big things for The Collaroy Centre, and this is the first step.

Plans have been in motion behind the scenes, and now that the DA is officially approved, we’re getting closer to sharing what’s next.

We’re not saying exactly what it is just yet… but trust us, it’s worth the wait.
