Player Spotlight! 🔦

We are proud to announce that at this years Sikh games our very own Manpreeth has received the ‘Supreet Kaur Netball Scholarship’

The scholarship was introduced to honour the memory of the late Supreet Kaur who was a passionate and dedicated netball player and participated at the Sikh games for over 10 years. She was representing the Perth team. The scholarship is awarded for dedicated and excellence displayed in the sport of Netball!

Manpreeth's achievements:

Have been playing netball since she was 6 years old

Best Junior Player at Melbourne Sikh Games - 2019 (she was 11 years old then)

Names best and fairest junior player after Melbourne games by Sydney Sikhs in 2019

Rep player since last 2021 for Blacktown

Played in indoor Super League with a championship winning team and her team

Has taken out MVP for her netball club - Quakers Hill Netball Club - 3 times

We are proud of your achievements Manpreeth and looking forward to sharing in your successes for years to come!

HATS OFF TO OUR COMMUNITY

The community has come forward to raise over forty thousand dollars for Kabaddi player Goldy Gagewal, who got injured at the Australian Sikh Games held at Coffs Harbour over the Easter weekend. He is currently being treated for a broken leg at the Coffs Harbour Hospital.
