A successful event is built on the support of great people, and we’re proud to have Millar Livestock Transport as part of the Wagyu Crown family.

Tyler caught up with the Millar team to chat about their involvement with the event, why supporting campdrafting matters, and what the Wagyu Crown means to them.

We’re incredibly grateful for their continued support of the event and the campdraft community.

A few weeks ago we asked for your honest feedback on the 2026 Wagyu Crown.

Now that we’ve read every response, we’d simply like to say thank you.

The number of responses was fantastic, but what impressed us most was the quality of the feedback. It was honest, thoughtful and constructive, and every response has helped us better understand what people value most about the Wagyu Crown experience.

The survey confirmed that while there’s always room to improve, we’re building something people genuinely enjoy being part of. We were incredibly humbled that 90% of respondents said they would recommend the Wagyu Crown to others, and we’re excited to use your feedback to make the 2027 event even better.

One of the standout themes throughout the survey was the catering. It was wonderful to see so many comments recognising the Clarke Creek P&C and volunteers for the incredible job they do, while also celebrating the opportunity to enjoy premium King River beef throughout the weekend. That’s always been part of what makes the Wagyu Crown unique, showcasing Wagyu not only in the competition arena, but around the table as well.

Thank you again to everyone who took the time to complete the survey. Your feedback is appreciated, your ideas have been heard, and they will help shape the future of the Wagyu Crown.

We’ll look forward to seeing you in 2027.

THANK YOU!

An event like the Wagyu Crown isn’t built by one person or even one family. It’s built by a community of people who generously give their time, expertise, resources and unwavering support to create something truly special.

To our sponsors, cattle donors, volunteers, committee members, judges, contractors, photographers, media team, competitors, families, spectators and every person who lent a hand… thank you.

Whether you contributed months of planning, a few hours of your time, donated products or services, travelled across the country to compete, or simply came along to support the event, you helped make the 2026 Wagyu Crown what it was.

Every conversation, every early morning, every late night, every beast moved, every arena prepared, every meal served and every run completed was only possible because so many people chose to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Finally, to the Rea family, thank you for having the vision to create the Wagyu Crown and for inviting so many people to be part of it. It has been a privilege for all of us to enjoy the rewards of the countless hours you’ve invested behind the scenes.

From all of us who had the opportunity to attend, compete, support and share in the weekend…

Thank you. We are incredibly grateful. Here’s to doing it all again in 2027.

Some people work behind the scenes, but their impact is impossible to miss.

A huge thank you to Tyler Palmer from Cowgirl Creative for everything she does for the Wagyu Crown.

From the countless hours behind the camera to bringing our social media to life, Tyler’s professionalism, creativity and dedication are second to none. She has an incredible ability to capture not only the action, but the people, the atmosphere and the moments that make the Wagyu Crown so special.

It was only fitting that Charlie had the honour of presenting Tyler with a small gift on behalf of the Wagyu Crown team. It will never reflect the time, effort and passion she pours into what she does, but we hope it shows just how much we appreciate her.

Thank you for helping tell the Wagyu Crown story and for being such an important part of our journey. We’re incredibly lucky to have you as part of the Wagyu Crown family. ❤️
