This year, we were honoured to dedicate the Casino Beef Week theme to Brenda Armfield, recognising the incredible contribution she made to our festival and the community she loved so dearly.

To everyone who helped honour Brenda by dressing up, decorating, attending an event, entering a competition, supporting our local businesses, joining in the celebrations - thank you. Together, you created a tribute filled with joy, community spirit and the warmth that reflected exactly who Brenda was.

While Brenda was deeply missed this year, seeing our community come together in her honour was a beautiful reminder of the lasting impact she had on so many lives.

May we continue to carry forward the community pride, passion and enthusiasm that Brenda shared so freely. We hope the spirit she brought to Casino Beef Week never fades, and that her love for this festival continues to inspire us for many years to come.

As we reflect on another fantastic Casino Beef Week, we'd like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who helped make our 2026 Tursa Queen and Ambassador Program such a success.

A special thank you to our wonderful judges - 1997 Casino Beef Week Queen Belinda Dockrill, along with valued community members Annabelle Toohey and Terry Toohey. We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy and enthusiasm you gave to the judging process.

👑 2026 TURSA QUEEN & AMBASSADOR PROGRAM 👑

A huge thank you to our 2026 Beef Week Queen & Ambassador Program Naming Rights Sponsor, Tursa Employment and Training, for their incredible support of this year's program.

As part of the Queen & Ambassador Program, participants had the opportunity to learn more about the valuable work TURSA does in supporting employment, training and career pathways throughout our community.

Our participants also enjoyed visiting Casino Travel Shoppe, where they learned about the world of travel, the importance of personalised customer service and how a locally owned business has been helping people create memorable travel experiences for more than 25 years.

✨FESTIVAL FLASHBACK | ACHIEVE SHOW ‘N’ SHINE ✨

The 2026 Casino Food Company Casino Beef Week celebrations ended with the popular Achieve Show ‘N’ Shine event and World’s Largest Meat Tray Raffle draw.

A strong turnout saw more than 200 vehicles line up for the Achieve Show 'N' Shine, with attendees enjoying a relaxed day exploring an impressive range of entries across multiple categories while Jason Spare kept the atmosphere lively with a mix of crowd favourites and timeless classics.

Crowds also gathered for the much-anticipated draw of the festival’s signature prize - the World’s Largest Meat Tray, weighing in at 200kg provided by Smith’s Butchery - alongside a 500L chest freezer generously donated by Oaten's Casino.

A huge thank you to our category sponsors for supporting this year's Achieve Australia Show 'N' Shine and helping recognise the incredible vehicles on display: Tony Hatton Auto Electrical, Herne’s Security, Walker Bros & Walkers Towing and Richmond Valley Wreckers & Mechanical.

The final day brought the nine-day festival to a close on a high note, rounding out another fantastic year of Casino Beef Week celebrations.

✨FESTIVAL FLASHBACK | BULLPIT BULLRIDING RODEO & MR BEEF ✨

Saturday of Casino Beef Week wouldn't be complete without two of the festival's most anticipated annual events – the BULL PIT Bullriding Rodeo at the Casino Showgrounds and Mr Beef at the Casino RSM Club.

The Bull Pit Bullriding Rodeo brought another unforgettable night of adrenaline-fuelled entertainment, with top riders taking on powerful bulls in a series of edge-of-your-seat rides that had the crowd cheering all evening.

Meanwhile, the annual Mr Beef competition delivered another night of cheeky entertainment, with contestants showing off more than just their confidence as they took to the stage with charisma, keeping the audience laughing from start to finish.
