Millmerran cowboy John McNamee will be one of the saddle bronc favourites at Myrtleford along with current APRA title holder Brad Pierce from Tooma in New South Wales.
Errol Frain, who hails from Yeppoon, is the runaway leader in steer wrestling in the APRA and has nominated for rodeos on the first weekend of the Christmas Run.
Some of the Queensland riders competing at Myrtleford and Carrieton are expected to head home for the Alton Downs Double Dip, two separate rodeos on two days on the property Lazy Acres from December 31.
