Heartbreaking to see what the fires have done in Mid-West council area. Unfortunately the farm has taken a bit of a beating but due to the courage and efforts of the firefighters they got it under control before it wiped out the entire property, saving the cabin and a good portion of the land. But the tracks and approximately 3/4 of the property has been burnt and will need to be replanned and worked. We will update everyone with progress during the season but again we are hit with delays and can not put a start date together for any of the training that was planned. The picture is the remains of a table and chairs that got burnt half way up the property.

Another weekend closer and a few more tyres over the tracks. Unfortunately our last lap was cut short due to 2 flat tyres but it was an epic day out. You can see on the map where the straight line exit started for the 2 bikes with flat tyres. Thanks to the guys who helped and joined on Saturday. Will be doing one more before the event also.

Another tidy up of the property happening this weekend. Bunting and arrows are now haunting my dreams. Need to wait a little longer for the property to dry out so some of the tyres can be put in place. But eventually everyone will be able to enjoy the hard work we are all putting in.

So the full “easy” lap has been marked, tracked recorded. With the shortened video to be shown tomorrow. It was a great and productive last two days of riding apart from a couple of flat tyres and a few bumps and bruises all went really well. We will be talking to the trainers shortly and will have some dates locked in shortly. Thank you all for your patience.

Heading out to the property tonight for a quick 2 day final clean up and will be getting footage of a full lap. Been a long time in preparation but it is finally all coming together nicely. Thanks to all that have helped out over the last few months and to the property owners who have been more than helpful and accommodating with all the shenanigans. Check out the size of some of these obstacles.

Hi All,

Our working bee/riding weekend is nearly here. feel free to check out the details and message us if you would like to attend. we will need numbers finalised by thursday so that food can be organised.

As there has been a public holiday announced for thursday 22nd September, there will be people arriving from Thursday morning and staying till Sunday evening. We welcome you all to come for and help out for as long as you can, arriving from Thursday onwards.

Dietary requirements - We will be supplying breakfast, lunch and dinner while we work, all from our Billion star restaurant (campfire). We will try to break it up and have a variety of foods, but if you have specific requirements, unfortunately we can not cater for them all and you will need to bring your own food.

What to bring - it does look like it may be a little wet at the property so for a rough guide of what to Bring
Waiver form
Bikes
bike spares
riding gear
tents or swags and pillows (i always forget the pillow)
sleeping bag
plates, cutlery and cups
camp chair
shelters
toilet paper
headlamp or torch
water
drinks (alcoholic and standard)
backpack or hydration pack

How to get there - not all gps units or apps will get you to the gate (Waze does not work) but google maps and apple maps are very accurate. Pyramul NSW 2850 please contact us directly for full address
Once you arrive please proceed through the gate around the back of the house and down the driveway until you see the Ford Graveyard and other camper/helpers. Find yourself a nice spot to set up camp and be mindful of the firepit plus tables and chairs. if you do arrive while we are out clearing and working on the tracks, and you don't know where to set up that is fine. We will periodically be coming back and checking in on the site to pick up and guide others to where we are working. get your gear on, bike ready and next thing you know we will all be making progress.

Once here - Please be advised that there is little to no phone reception on the property. We will be checking in on the hour at both the front gate and campgrounds for people who have arrived. We will have the CB radios on us and tuned to channel 14. If you have access to one bring it along and you can contact us that way also.

Another successful day cutting and marking trails. It is currently all pretty much roughed in, next week we will go through and arrow the tracks ready for our first ride day. Thanks to those that have been giving up their time to help make this all happen.

The first of our working bee's will be held on 24th and 25th of September, at our property which is near Mudgee, Pyramul . Registration for this event is required as numbers will be limited. Come along for this event and receive discounts for upcoming training and social ride weekends. Bring your bikes, Bring you tents camping equipment, Bring your rakes and if you have Bobcats or other heavy equipment please bring that too. Once the numbers are full we will let everyone know.
