SOS - Salsa on Saturday's end of year celebration held at Ainslie Arts Centre will have Live Latin music, a bachata workshop and all the salsa!

Our December SOS is the first time we will be hosting Canberra’s own Mi Tierra. That’s right! You’ll be dancing to live Latin music along with our SOS Dj’s and if that weren’t enough we have Bachata Influence in the house to teach our pre party workshop. Does it get any better? Live Latin music, a bachata workshop and all the salsa.

Tickets are available now at a reduced price till Friday before the event.

Remember Bachata Influence will be teaching at Academy for .tribe during the day as well.

In June 2025, Music Australia revealed the music industry generated revenues of $8.78 billion through its landmark report, The Bass Line. Now it’s time to build on that story.
Submissions to The Bass Line – Edition 2 are now open. The survey collects data for FY2024-25 and is open to anyone working across the music sector.

📝 The survey is short, anonymous and takes just 5-10 minutes to complete. This research will be an ongoing annual series and will inform future policy, investment and support for the music industry. It’s a chance to make sure your part of the sector is represented.

AusArt Day on Thursday 23 October is a nationwide, sector-wide fundraising initiative to raise awareness and funding for the arts. It is also a day for artists and arts organisations to celebrate creativity!

Ainslie residents Canberra International Music Festival, Music For Canberra, Luminescence Chamber Singers and Liz Lea Dance are all participating in this year's initiative. Long live the arts! 🎉

The Questacon Science Circus is rolling into Canberra this school holidays to celebrate its 40th anniversary!

This free Pop-up Science Centre offers an exciting program of experiments, demonstrations and hands-on activities.

You can take part in Spectacular Science Shows where Science Circus presenters will launch marshmallows, demonstrate freezing cold liquid nitrogen and more.
