Heads up, Cat Empire fans!

It has come to our attention that tickets for the CSO and Cat Empire show are being re-sold through unauthorised third-party sellers.

We do not re-sell through any third parties. Any tickets bought elsewhere are not valid for entry and may be cancelled without notice.

Make sure you don't miss out - always book directly through the CSO website (where you'll probably also find that the prices are cheaper than advertised elsewhere)!

We can't wait to see you there.

Llewellyn Hall was filled with music lovers joining us for Sea and Stars over the last two nights. The second Llewellyn Series concert of the year was a treat!

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our presenting partners, The European Union in Australia. Evenings like these would not be possible without their support.

Our flagship Llewellyn Series continues in September with an unmissable, brand new CSO concert experience - Hitchcock's film Psycho with live orchestra.

24/04/2026

This Anzac Day, we remember the service men and women, past and present, who have served this country in wars, conflicts, humanitarian missions, and peacekeeping operations across the globe.

Tomorrow will mark the 111th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings. We honour the spirit of the original Anzacs and the enduring bravery of those who continue to serve today – embodying those same values as they stand ready to lay down their future for ours.

We pay tribute to the families of those who gave their lives in service to our nation, in both war and peace.

Tomorrow's Anzac Day address at the National Commemorative Service will be delivered by the Chair of the CSO Board, Air Chief Marshal Sir Angus Houston AK, AFC (Ret'd).

For more information on tomorrow's commemorations, visit the Australian War Memorial website below:

Thank you to all who joined us at the National Gallery yesterday as the CSO String Quartet performed Schubert's gripping chamber music masterpiece, Death and the Maiden.

Congratulations to guest violinist Helen Ayres, as well as our very own Doreen Cu***ng (Principal Violin), Tor Frømyhr (Principal Viola), and Patrick Suthers (Principal Cello).

A special thank you to our presenting partner, Arcare Aged Care for their support in making this concert series possible.

Coming up this May in Llewellyn Hall is Gershwin's iconic Rhapsody in Blue, featuring ARIA-winning pianist Tamara-Anna Cislowska:
