7 DAYS TO GO for our Go fund me campaign :-)
Dear wonderful friends family and colleagues,
The SoundOut festival has been at my heart of things for 17 years and more than ever it is an event that is like a healing balm (even just for a moment) to all the dystopian political craziness befalling the planet, and a beacon of experimental musical collaborations that speaks to the need for more of this. More collaborations rather than less, conflation of difference and distance, about community, the human community gathering for the ritual of deep listening and for a moment, yes peeling back the layers to hope and uplifting the community. It is not an easy task crowd-funding but it is what I must do to make the festival a reality in only 7 days [yes a weeks time]. We are now at “81%” of our crowd funding goal and definitely need you support to reach the target of $18000. So, we need your support to cover artist fees, travel, accommodation, and production costs. Your contribution, no matter the size, will help us continue this important tradition and ensure that these artists have a platform to be heard.
