Government have said the travel to Nee Zealand and pacific Islands will MAYBE/LIKELY open up July without quarantine regulations.

If this is confirmed Oceania games will confirm dates 60days or closest available to that timeframe for event.

Again this is subject to travel restrictions and availability

Once we know we will push out as quick as possible all information available

This allows us to host still a very competitive event with everyone adequate time to prepare

OCG 2020 is constantly communicating with Sport Australia with regards to our event.

Sport Australia, being the peak governance in sport and directed by Government, we are confident the right choices and directions will be followed.

At this stage the OCG 2020 will go ahead as planned with some directives and restrictions put in place.

We are finalizing these and their impacts in several areas.

We will give a full statement on Monday after more official talks.

Day 1 under belts all winners will get chance at Australia team qualifications
Day 2 continental championships and Australia team selection for Worlds

Remember this event is official points for qualifying to compete in the IWGA GAMES IN USA 2021 and will also be the same for WORLD COMBAT GAMES in Kazakhstan 2021

winners of divisions will represent Australia at the World championships in Abu Dhabi in December as the official Hyperfly Australia team and New Zealand

WAKO AUSTRALIA will be having a AWARDS night to mark its 5 year anniversary

The event will happen on Friday 17th April at the AIS and will include meals and soft drink. All ages event

This will be limited to 80 tickets
Formal dress code and suits encouraged

This will have several categories celebrating athletes over the last 5 years

We have also included some Oceania awards that incorporates some of our Kiwi champions who have competed at Oceania championships in the past.

Note that all nominations are based over the last 5 yeArs so some familiar and some we have not seen for a while.

Hi guys

I have priced and pre booked a larger charter bus from Sydney to AIS in Canberra

The bus can seat 55 people

It needs a minimum of 50 people to confirm to make it work

The pick up points would be

Nitrixx Bankstown
Martial Nrg Wetherill Park

If you want to take advantage of this Bus I need numbers from coaches ASAP

Jiu Jitsu being run by Mr Jordan Wilson from JJIF Australia and Hyperfly Australia

Aiming to have Australia’s best JiuJitsu athletes take out Oceania’s and build a Official Australia Team and Other Oceania countries to compete at World titles in Abu Dhabi and qualify for the World Combat Games and world games in Birmingham USA 2021

Truly Honoured 🙏🏻

After months of preparation, I have been charged with the task of building & managing Australia’s first National Jiu Jitsu Team 🇦🇺 !! 💥💥 Such an honour after years of travelling from city to city on the Circuit, supporting and building Aussie Jiu Jitsu .. The team will be representing our Great Nation in ‘Ne Waza’ (Ground Techniques) at both the 2021 World Combat Games (WCG) Kazakhstan and the 2021 World Games (IWGA) Birmingham U.S.A. - sanctioned by the International Olympic Council (IOC) ..

We will be running team qualifying trials at the Australian Institute Of Sport (AIS) as part of the 2020 Oceania Games, April 18-19 .. Save the date champions, and stand by for further details this week !!
