Vanessa Dinelli is a Brazilian actress returning to the Rondo stage for Catwalk Chaos after her debut in the play The Almighty Sometimes. She is beyond excited to be back, doing what she loves most: Acting! It is a true passion for Vanessa, and performing again fills her with great thrill and joy. Vanessa is also having an absolute blast sharing her heart, mind and soul with the character of Stella Simpson — an outrageous, larger-than-life character.

Strutting down the Rondo stage as the saucy, sexy Moxy Morris, Catwalk
Chaos has given Karen Wilson a real chance to develop her acting talents further. Her debut performance was in The Real Inspector Hound, staged last year at the Rondo. And Karen again appeared on stage in this year’s production of
Holiday Snap. She has also performed in The Accidental Bride, at JUTE
Theatre.

Karen enjoys being surrounded by creative people and loves being part of live and community theatre.

Melanie is from the UK where she trained professionally in Musical
Theatre and performed in numerous plays, musicals and pantomimes across the country.

Here in Cairns she is a dance, musical theatre and aerial silks teacher at Dance 2XS. She is very excited to be back on stage at the Rondo, having a lot of laughs with her fellow actors during rehearsals! She hopes the audience loves the character of Toni Thompson as much as she does.

Rebecca is excited to bring Greta Green to life in Catwalk Chaos, which opens THIS FRIDAY on 26 June.

This is Rebecca’s sixth show at the Rondo, and she has performed in many stage
productions over the past decade. Previous performances include Mimi Labonq in Allo Allo, Perdita in Carpe Jugulum, Connie in The Effect and Julia in 1984. Rebecca has enjoyed collaborating with such a fabulous group of talented humans once more.

Herman Smith plays 'Big Harry' in Catwalk Chaos, which opens Friday 26 June.

Since making the Rondo his new home in 2024, Herman has been involved in three murders and the covering up of his best friend’s infidelity. Growing up with the theatre in the UK and as a puppeteer both there and in Australia, he always seems blessed to be surrounded by great casts, directors and back stage crews that he says he is continually learning both theatrical and life lessons from.
