There is an ⁠Oxley Common Walk happening today at 8:30 AM. Participants are meeting at the main entrance off Sherwood Road, Rocklea (near the 'Red Shed'). The walk covers about 4.6km and is followed by socializing and morning tea.
The Oxley Creek Common Walk (located in Rocklea, just 7 km south of the Brisbane CBD) is a flat, 3.7 to 6 km out-and-back trail famous for birdwatching, open grasslands, and farm animals. It is an easy, family-friendly walk that takes 1 to 1.5 hours to complete
