We are proud to present the “Steel City Surf Classic Artists”

A special exhibition celebrating the creatives who have supported our event over the past five years. These artists have painted live during competition days, bringing their diverse talents to life in styles ranging from street graffiti to Photography.

Heading the collective is .art , a celebrated muralist and tattoo artist, whose dynamic leadership and vision have been instrumental in shaping this ever-evolving artistic community.

RULES - 1st heat 7am in the water- Check in is 10 min prior to your heat otherwise a reserve will be put in.
Anyone who doesn’t clear the water or surfs in the contest area is liable to disqualification.
Heats are 40 minutes duration, 8 surfers per heat , top 2 waves count , 4 surfers progress from round 1.
Interference rules apply but gentlemen’s rule are expected.

Ty’s BIG WAVE BATTLE Due to the solid size of the swell arriving Friday morning at Sandon Point...We have decided to postpone our original Tag team event and hold a revised event limited to experienced surfers only.. Held Good Friday at Sandon Point. PRICE MONEY and CLAMING RIGHTS of $1,000 for best on the day.

This is an individual event 16+

Please note you will need to register separately for Ty’s Big wave battle “Tag Team Event is POSTPONED not cancelled, your $79 rego will roll over to our Summer event.”

After Party and Massive Raffle still happening at Ryans Hotel from 6pm.
