IGR Bingham Cup Official page for the biennial IGR Bingham Cup: the world’s preeminent inclusive rugby event.

The Mark Kendall Bingham Memorial Tournament, or Bingham Cup is the biennial world championships for the gay and inclusive rugby community. First held in 2002, the tournament was created in memory of 9/11 hero Mark Bingham, who lost his life fighting back against terrorists on board United flight 93, which crashed into the ground near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Nine cities have hosted the tourname

May 17 is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism and Transphobia or colloquially known as IDAHOBIT.

Today is the day we commemorate the date in 1990 that the World Health Organisation removed homosexuality from the International Classification of Diseases.

We also look forward to working towards the removal of discrimination towards LGBTIQA+ communities.
