🌟 What a night at the Queensland Music Awards! 🌟
We’re so proud of Director Dan Macarthur , nominated for Best Music Video for Fade Away by local faves Nice Biscuit 🛸💫
The video is a wild ride - starting in iconic West End locations, the band blasts into space, flies into a black hole, and drifts through dreamy, psychedelic landscapes all created by Dan. Shot in the heart of West End, it’s a love letter to local creativity with a cosmic twist.
Dan kicked off his career shooting music videos for legends like Powderfinger , Regurgitator Killing Heidi and The Whitlams Official (Blow Up the Pokies scored him a Golden Tripod 🎥). Since then, he’s directed feature films and worked as a DOP around the world.
So yes, this one’s special. Full circle, full throttle, full vibes. Congrats Dan, and shoutout to all the amazing talent lighting up Queensland’s creative scene! Watch here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh0PqJHGOp8QMusic

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟

We're thrilled to share the success of the cast and crew screening of Charlie Film written and directed by Mel Poole 🎬✨ It was an unforgettable night filled with emotion, celebration, and a powerful message.

A huge shoutout to our incredible cast and crew who poured their hearts into this project, especially Dan Macarthur and the team at Folklore Sound and 3P 🙌

The film, inspired by a true story, tackles the complex issue of homelessness, aiming to challenge perceptions and inspire action. Bryan Probets, Finn Treacy and Brittani Clark delivered outstanding performances that truly brought the story to life.

The evening was a testament to the support we've received from the Brisbane community and our sponsors ISPT, Canterbury Property Services, Libertine Restaurant, Pullman Brisbane Airport, Marriott Brisbane, Mantle Group Hospitality, and Wilsons Parking. We couldn't have done it without you!

But the journey doesn't end here. Charlie Film is set to make waves internationally, with plans to participate in film festivals and tour schools, community groups, and workplaces. 🌏🌈

Join us in celebrating this significant milestone and stay tuned for more updates as we continue our mission to change perceptions about homelessness and foster empathy and action. 🤝🎥

Remote shooting in Australia? Our producers have the cure...

Hospitals are usually something you try to avoid. Not us. In fact, we kinda built one for a recent remote shoot.

One of the ironies of the pandemic is how it’s both isolated and bound us closer together by forcing us to innovate. For 18 degrees this has meant a growing client base of international clients seeking out our services for remote shooting. This means we complete the shoots that have become too impractical for the agency or company to complete on their home turf.....read more below.
