Our Story

Gardeners are the creators and nurturers of the future.

Gardeners are resilient despite drought, fire, flood or storms. While vast areas of Australia have been declared drought and savage fires have devasted natural forests and dwellings, gardeners continue to plan (and plant) for the future and see hope for future generations.

Over recent years the growth in indoor and collectable plants has created a boom for the nursery and garden industry all due to the compulsive nature of social media and the smaller dwellings spaces many people now live in. People are collecting old fashion plants, new release hybrids and rare exotic species – we see the Brisbane Garden & Plant Expo as the perfect event for the ‘plant addicts’.

The interest back to nature, back to gardening, is now embedded into the youth and we see young gardeners in their teens keen to rub shoulders with seasoned gardeners to share and learn new skills. Their interest is diverse from vegies to bees to bushland regeneration. Our workshops provide opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge for both the beginner and seasoned gardener.
