Jemzel is a Filipino/Australian independent artist and producer making music in a bedroom. She creates her music with the use of transparent songwriting based on personal experiences, thoughts and emotions that resonate with a wide audience. Her confessional writing about the human condition is fused with a plethora of sonic influences - from rock to folk to soul - to craft her unique sound.
Since her debut at 15-years-old in 2022, Jemzel has built a catalogue of 16 songs - all written, produced, mixed and mastered by her - and has independently amassed over 1,350,000 streams on Spotify alone. She’s continued to make waves with the release of her debut EP ‘starry eyed’ and single ‘Potent Kiss’.
With Jemzel’s dynamic, electrifying and memorable performances, she’s grown her presence in the local live music scene, supporting artists including Old Mervs, Ixaras, gordon’s grandson, Worm Girlz, and bella amor.
