🛠️ A fresh welcome is taking shape!

Our maintenance team has been hard at work grinding, repairing and repainting the handrails at the entrance to our site. These important repairs improve safety, protect the handrails from the elements and give our entrance a fresh new look.

We’re grateful for the care and skill that goes into keeping QCCC Brisbane safe and welcoming for all our guests. 🌿

🔨 Another renovation completed at QCCC Brisbane!

Due to a water leak, one of our bathroom basins required replacing and renovating. Taking care of the little things helps us keep our facilities safe, welcoming and ready for our guests.

Our chefs have been busy preparing fresh chicken wraps for a school group heading offsite to explore Brisbane and its surrounds.

We farewelled Jasmine last week, after 4 wonderful years at QCCC Brisbane.

Beginning as a Casual Kitchen Hand/Dining Room Attendant she moved into the Guest Services Coordinator role Part time. She faithfully served our guests and team with excellence, kindness, and care.

Her singing, servant heart, and encouragement to those around her have left a lasting impact, and we are so grateful for all she has contributed over the years.

Thank you to Chun and Tommy who provided a delicious lunch for us all to enjoy.

We will miss you Jasmine. You'll always be part of the QCCC Brisbane family. 💙

SAVE THE DATE 📸

1927 – 2027. A century of camps, cabins, campfires and changed lives.

On 10 April 2027, we're marking 100 years of Baptist camping ministry in Queensland with a Centenary Celebration at QCCC Mapleton.

From a women's craft retreat and a steamboat trip on Moreton Bay in 1927, to the campsites, expeditions and outdoor education programs of today – it's been a century of God at work through this ministry, and through the thousands of Queenslanders who've called these places home for a weekend, a week, or a lifetime of memories.

More details to come. For now, lock it in – we'd love you there.

Isaac and Stu have been busy refreshing our site by repainting the door frames, doors and trims, giving these spaces a clean, modern look. It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do!

A huge thank you to Isaac and Stu for the care, skill, and attention to detail they've put into this project. We think the results speak for themselves!
