We are thrilled to introduce the following artists that are joining the Brisbane Illustration Fair July 2026! Check out their bios below & give them a follow!
: Claire Cassidy, working as Studio Flos, is a q***r artist on Gadigal Land. She creates bold, hand-cut paper cut artworks rich in colour, texture and shadow. Her dreamlike compositions balance calmness and playfulness, inviting connection and joy. Claireβs practice spans fine art, illustrations, murals and workshops.
: am graduated with Bachelor of Education (Visual Art) (Honors) and had been a high school art teacher for five years. I published a silent picture book about life of city which inspired from my daily busy life. I quit my full time teacher job and started my creative journey with pyrography art and focus on Australia natives birds and flowers. All woods used in the artworks are sourced from local Australia and created with nature and birds themes. Using wood and heat as art mediums, my artworks invite the audiences to embrace the texture and warmth of nature.
forward: Amy Crow is a Brisbane / Meanjin based multidisciplinary creative spanning across design, product and illustration. Her work uses a lot of humour in the form of puns and play on words. Her best sellers are her print works and her bumper stickers. She uses her work and her brand to make social commentary about her home town (Brisbane!) and her fake world- Forge World.
: Hi I'm Reid, a Brisbane-based artist who loves making artworks with fantasy, astrological and ocean critter themes, all with a touch of whimsy. Primariy working with watercolour colours and digital art ππ«
