Our very first ‘Biggest Morning Tea’ exceeded all of our expectations, and we are thrilled to announce that we raised 2,705 for Cancer Council.

A massive and heartfelt congratulations to all who baked, volunteered, donated and attended.

We feel privileged to be hosting the extremely talented Harpist Siobhan Owen.

Siobhan has performed at festivals and more throughout Europe and Russia. She sings and plays in many genres including multilingual Celtic folk songs in six languages and contemporary songs all performed on harp. She has performed at festivals throughout Europe, Russia and Australia.

BRIDGEWATER ARTS CENTRE HIGH TEA
Saturday 30th May 2026, 2 – 4pm
409 Mount Barker Road, Bridgewater

As a Cancer Council “Biggest Morning Tea” event, Bridgewater Art Centre, will be hosting HIGH Tea.
Our last High Tea raised $2,000 for the Cudlee Creek bush fire in February 2020.

We’re back, supporting the Cancer Council this time, with what will be a memorable experience for all our guests.
The $35pp ticket cost includes
• bubbles on arrival
• entry to the lucky door prize
• and, of course, a scrumptious High Tea including delicious finger sandwiches, savory bites, jam & cream scones, petite sweet treats, and a bottomless pot of tea or coffee.
Bring along some extra cash for raffles, trading table, silent auction, adult lucky dip (wine) and much more.

We have all been touched by losing a loved one to this terrible disease. This is our chance to take part in this National fundraising event help with improving treatments and continued research.

Sunday afternoon we had the privilege to host Mike Mclellan, a legendary wordsmith with humour and heart.

The audience was captivated as he told stories through music and even enjoyed a sing-a-long to some of his biggest hits.

Mike announced that this would be his last interstate tour which made the afternoon extra special.
