Our event is the opposite of AI: it's fuel efficient, no BS grassroots living in what's left of this beautiful world we inherited.

Final results are in for the Derek Josephs Award and there's been a change at the top of the table!

Quick reminder: Derek Josephs was a founding member of Wolfrunners Inc and the original organising committee. We lost him in tragic circumstances in 2017 and added this 13th trophy to the race in his memory. It's awarded by combining overall finishing place in the 70km with fundraising results.

Pipping Beau Miles to the post with a late fundraising rally getting him to 4th place) and a higher finishing position (5th place) is...drumroll...Richard Matison!

A big thank you to all our fundraisers, especially our TOP THREE who weren't in the 70km, they ran the Berry Street Marathon: Crispin Egli, Matt Thomas and Matt Rodda.

And our final trophy is yet to be awarded. Every year the Derek Josephs Award goes to the 70km runner with the best combined finish time and fundraising total. The interim results are here, where Beau Miles appears to have an unassailable lead.

BUT we're still in competition until Sunday, with results being recut Monday morning, so there's potential. Up for grabs is the beautiful trophy made by the talented Matthew Vaughan, with the course map and contours lazer cut into it, PLUS a $100 voucher from The Running Company-Yarraville and a $100 voucher from The Good Guys!
