The Bendigo Easter Festival 2026 is scheduled for 3 - 6 April.
Celebrate Easter in Bendigo with four unforgettable days of colour, culture and community!
The 2026 Bendigo Easter Festival is set to transform the city from April 3 to 6, turning every corner of Bendigo into a lively celebration filled with creativity, heritage and the welcoming spirit of community. As the autumn season settles in, the streets will come alive with the sounds of music, the movement of colourful parades, the aromas of local food offerings and the excitement of families, performers, visitors and volunteers gathering to experience one of the region’s most treasured traditions.
This year holds particular importance as Bendigo recognises the 100 year anniversary of the Bendigo Easter Fair Society, the volunteer organisation that has supported, guided and celebrated this major event since 1926. For a full century, the Society’s dedication has shaped the heart of the festival, preserving its cultural traditions while encouraging it to grow and evolve. Their milestone adds a meaningful layer of celebration to the 2026 program and highlights the long history of community pride and involvement that continues to define the festival today.

The Bendigo Easter Festival 2025 Will Take Place 18 - 21 April.
In 2025, the Bendigo Easter Festival will be held Friday April 18 - Monday April 21.
Over the Easter long weekend, Bendigo’s beautiful Rosalind Park and surrounding streets will be transformed into a vibrant precinct bursting with family-friendly entertainment.
An extensive program of activities and attractions offers something for all ages. Be in the hunt for 85,000 Easter Eggs on Good Friday, experience the thrills of Carnival Central, find a treasure at the Rotary Market, rock along to live music or keep the kids busy in a park filled with hands-on activities and performances.
Dance, drums, Lion teams and 100,000 crackers are all part of Awakening of the Dragon, as Bendigo celebrates its Chinese heritage at the Dai Gum San Precinct.
As the sun sets on Easter Saturday, cheer on the convoy of illuminated floats in the La Trobe University Torchlight Procession - Commemorating the service of Rod Fyffe OAM, concluding with a spectacular firework display over the city.
Don’t miss the iconic Sherridon Homes Gala Parade on Easter Sunday where you’ll experience the excitement of Dai Gum Loong, the world’s longest Imperial Dragon, weaving his way through the historic streetscapes of Bendigo.

The Bendigo Easter Festival 2024 Will Take Place 29 March - 01 April.
Over the Easter long weekend, Bendigo’s beautiful Rosalind Park and surrounding streets will be transformed into a vibrant precinct bursting with family-friendly entertainment.
Be in the hunt for 80,000 Easter Eggs on Good Friday, experience the thrills of Carnival Central, find a treasure at the Rotary Market, and marvel at the extraordinary entertainers wandering through picturesque Rosalind Park.
