🎉🏳️‍🌈 And that is a wrap on Bendigo Pride Festival 2026! A festival that could not be done without our wonderful community.

We want to say a massive THANK YOU to all our sponsors, media partners, supporters, Stall Holders, and beautiful volunteers who helped bring this year’s Bendigo Pride Festival Together!!

And of course, it would not be Bendigo Pride Festival without all of you amazing and gorgeous people (and pets 🐾) who attended this year’s events, thank you for coming and celebrating Pride with us!

Join Thorne Harbour Country and Bendigo Theatre Company to Celebrate IDAHOBIT at Ulumbarra on Sunday 17 May with a panel discussion with LGBTQIA+ Cast and Crew members of “Priscilla: Queen of the Desert: The Musical” sharing their lived experiences of participating in this production and what it means to them; discussing the themes of the musical and what has changed and what hasn’t since the original film premiered in 1994.

Doors open at 10.00am for mingling and finding your seats upstairs. Panel event commences from 10.30am - 11.30am, then enjoy some morning tea before the 1.00pm matinee performance of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert

IDAHOBIT is the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia, celebrated annually on May 17th. It commemorates the World Health Organization’s decision on May 17, 1990, to remove homosexuality from the Classification of Diseases. The day focuses on raising awareness of LGBTQIA+ rights violations and celebrating diversity.

The long-awaited results for Purrfect Portraits are in!!! 🎉 🎉

During Pride In the Park, we asked you to come and vote for your favourite p***y!! And boy did you guys ever! We received a total of 157 votes!!🙀
After careful counting we have not one but two winners! Tied with 24 votes each!! So, cross your fingers, toe beans and whiskers because the winners are!!!!

Dio!!
A majestic black cat of an unknown age (old). Dio’s expression caught the eye of many festival goers with many being heard saying “I like the cute grumpy one” 🐈‍⬛

Blossom!!
A very pretty 6-year-old orange and white domestic shorthair. Blossom’s curly tail and sparkly eyes wooed many voters, maybe she cast a spell on you 👀

Congratulations to Dio and Blossom (and their humans of course) 👏 👏 👏 👏
