The full three day music and local yumminess including fruit, icy poles and ice-creams to keep up your energy levels. Starting off on Friday with a Welcome to Country ceremony before Yorta Yorta Dja Dja Wurrung singer songwriter Carissa Nyalu takes the stage, followed by indie pop singer songwriter Phoebe Go, Hip Hop MC and producer Pookie and rounding the first day out with local vocalist Suzi, with DJ Joey Lightbulb on MC and DJ duties throughout the day. Doors open at 11am on the Saturday, with Triple J’s Pip Rasmussen on MC and DJ duties. Local favourites Aplegate are first off the ranks, followed by psych/pop outfit Sunfruits. Guitar pop artist Geoffrey O’Conner is next, followed by indie pop/Hip Hop artist Freeds and Melbourne psychedelic 5 piece Bananagun. Festival highlight Kardajala Kirridarra will grace the stage for their Bendigo debut, with Saturday’s programming coming to an end with driving 80’s electronica legends Black Cab. Still with us? A
lmost Summer three day festival goers need a coffee to start the day off at 11am on Sunday, with PBS’s DJ Friday on the tunes in between to keep you moving. Castlemaine native singer/songwriter Nadia Phillips is first up, and keeping it local, Bendigo’s Flora steps up next before alt/country songwriter Gabriella Cohen woo’s you with 4 part harmonies. Sunshine pop Aussie/English outfit Greatest Hits are next, and rounding out the finalities for the festival are indie rock legends Cool Sounds. See you there.
