Bega Streetlight Festival

Friday 24 October, 2025

The Bega Streetlight Festival is a free, inclusive community event that transforms Carp Street into a vibrant celebration of art, food, music, and lights — created in partnership with local arts, culture, and business groups.

The Bega Streetlight Festival is a true community collaboration, and we couldn't do it without the support and commitment of our wonderful partners. ❤️

The Festival was proudly funded by the NSW Government’s Open Streets Program, led by Transport for NSW, and delivered through a collaboration between the Bega Chamber of Commerce, South East Arts and Bega Valley Shire Council.

Together, these organisations helped bring our streets to life and create a night filled with music, art, lights, entertainment, food and, most importantly, community.

Thank you for helping make the 2026 Bega Streetlight Festival such a fantastic celebration of our town and region. ✨

From the energy of the Japanese Taiko drummers to the incredible Fling Physical Theatre and the many talented people who took to the stage, there was something for everyone.

Thank you to every performer who helped fill Bega with music, movement and energy.

You were amazing! 👏

Thank you, Bega! ❤️

The Bega Streetlight Festival is all about bringing our community together, and once again, the community delivered.

Thank you to everyone who came along, volunteered, performed, traded, created, supported local businesses and simply enjoyed the night.

Events like this don't happen without a community getting behind them.
From everyone involved in the Bega Streetlight Festival, thank you for making it such a memorable celebration of Bega.

One of the best things about the Bega Streetlight Festival was seeing so many local kids out enjoying themselves.

From the lights and music to the performances, food, activities and excitement of having the streets come alive, there was plenty to keep little festival-goers entertained.

Seeing kids dancing, laughing, running into friends and simply enjoying being part of their community is exactly what a night like this is all about. ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who helped create a safe, fun and welcoming night for families across the Bega Valley.

Good food. Great local businesses. Even better company. 🍴

The Bega Streetlight Festival was the perfect excuse to get together with friends and family and enjoy everything our local food and market traders had to offer.

There was plenty to eat, plenty to discover and plenty of reasons to stay a little longer.

Thank you to all the stallholders and local businesses who helped make the Festival such a delicious night out.

The sound of Taiko filled the streets of Bega! 🥁

One of the unforgettable moments of this year's Bega Streetlight Festival was the incredible performance by the Japanese Taiko drummers.

The powerful rhythms, energy and atmosphere had people stopping to watch, and created a truly memorable Festival experience.

A huge thank you to the performers for sharing their incredible talent with the Bega community.

🙌 Behind every great community event is an army of people working behind the scenes.

The Bega Streetlight Festival would not be possible without the volunteers, organisers, businesses, performers, suppliers and community members who put in the time to make it happen.

Many of the people who make an event like this possible aren't always visible on the night - but their contribution is huge.

To everyone who helped before, during and after the Festival: thank you.
