As part of the Bega Streetlight Festival, a stunning new mural has come to life on the wall of Plevey's Pharmacy!

This vibrant piece, featuring a brilliantly coloured lorikeet, was created through a series of youth street art workshops led by local artist Terri Tuckwell (Teltale Art) in collaboration with Spiral Gallery.

The workshops were supported by BVSC grant funding originally received in 2019 to offer teens and young adults more creative arts opportunities. Terri guided participants through mural techniques, combining individual artworks with a large collaborative design that celebrates creativity and community.

The result? Bright, festive colour that perfectly captures the spirit of the Streetlight Festival!
