The Bega Streetlight Festival will feature market stalls and late-night shopping, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to browse, discover something new and support local businesses.

With illuminated streets, live music and food around every corner, shopping in the CBD will have a whole different atmosphere.

The Bega Streetlight Festival isn’t just about entertainment - it’s also about bringing people into the CBD and encouraging everyone to explore, shop, eat and support local.

With food vendors, market stalls, late-night shopping and thousands of reasons to wander through the streets, the festival creates an opportunity for local businesses to connect with the community.

As darkness falls, interactive lighting projections will once again transform two of Bega’s buildings as part of the Streetlight Festival.

Add illuminated streets, pop-up performances and street entertainment, and the CBD will look very different after dark.

It’s the kind of night where stopping to look up is highly recommended! ✨

There’s plenty happening for the little festival-goers too! 🎨🤹‍♀️

The Bega Streetlight Festival is bringing plenty of family-friendly fun to the CBD.

Kids can enjoy jumping castles, face painting, magicians, storytelling, chalk art and gaming, along with gymnastics demonstrations and plenty of street entertainment.

So the whole family can grab some dinner, explore the lights and enjoy a night out together.

The 2026 Bega Streetlight Festival is introducing something new this year - a Battle of the Bands competition for performers under 25.

It’s a chance for young musicians to take the stage, showcase their talent and battle it out in front of a festival crowd.

With more than 120 musicians performing across the festival, there will be plenty of musical talent to discover.

Bega is turning up the volume! 🎶

More than 120 musicians will take to stages across the Bega Streetlight Festival, with performances spread across seven different performance spaces.

There will be live bands, youth performers, roving entertainment and plenty of opportunities to discover local talent.

And for the first time, the festival will feature a Battle of the Bands for performers under 25.

Bioluminescence is back! 🌿✨

We’re excited to welcome Bioluminescence back to the Bega Streetlight Festival!
Bioluminescence is an interactive video projection mapping program developed to give young people a voice through hands-on workshops, creativity and technology.
Young people work together to develop a site-specific video projection mapping event for their community – bringing their ideas to life through light, art and digital technology.

We can’t wait to see what this year’s young creatives bring to the festival!
