This is the first of 3 informal coffee and chats we are holding over the next 3 weekends to reach out to the community. If you interested in joining the team either on committee or as a volunteer here's your chance to find out more. No pressure, just chat. If you can't make it this weekend, don't worry, we are back...

The 2026 Upper Beac Festival was an incredible success — and the amazing feedback we’ve received says it all! 🎉

What might surprise you is that the entire event was brought to life by just six dedicated volunteer committee members. It was a huge effort for such a small team, and we couldn’t be prouder of what was achieved.

As we look ahead to 2027, we know we’ll need more hands on deck to keep this wonderful community event going. To be transparent — without additional committee members and volunteers in the lead-up to the festival, we may face some tough decisions about its future.

If you’ve ever wondered how you could get involved, now is the time!

Wow, what a wonderful weekend of Art & Photography! Congratulations to everyone who entered their work, the talent on display was absolutely inspiring — and truly, you’re all winners in our eyes.

Across two vibrant days, the exhibition showcased an incredible mix of mediums, styles and subjects, the creativity on display made this year’s exhibition one to remember!

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors: RMBL, Small Time Big Time, Up the Hill Bakery, Protone Painting, UB RSL, Zeemo and Framing to a T and Cardinia Shire Council.

Hi Upper Beaconsfield. The 2026 Village Festival is on Sunday 15th February.

To bring it all together, we need help. We’re looking for volunteers. Whether you love organising events, want to connect with your community, learn new skills, or just lend a hand, we’d love to hear from you. No matter your age or experience, everyone’s welcome.
